Liberal discourse in contemporary world cinema

This research addresses one of the most important political, economic, and social ideas, namely liberalism. It also examines how cinema can promote these ideas through cinematic discourse, and its impact on vulnerable peoples. The researchers present the problem and objective of the research in the introduction, followed by a theoretical foundation consisting of two sections: the first: The Main Concepts of Liberalism; and the second: Liberal Values and Cinematic Discourse. The research procedures included an analysis of the purposive sample, represented by the film "Killers of the Flower Moon," produced in 2023. The researchers then reached a set of conclusions, including:
An attempt to obliterate identity, a change in societal awareness, and a destructive impact on the moral, religious, and societal systems of peoples.
The triumph and supremacy of liberal values over traditional values.
