Abstract

The aesthetics of graphic design techniques, when employed within architectural spaces, contribute to the creation of a visual language that facilitates users' ease of navigation and movement within these environments, as well as enhancing accessibility. Furthermore, they play a role in communicating the identity and function of these spaces through façade signage, while also enriching the overall user experience within them. Therefore, the aim of this research is to explore the aesthetic foundations capable of generating an effective graphic visual language that functions within architecture, offering both functional and aesthetic value. The spatial boundaries of the study are defined within the Republic of Iraq – Baghdad Governorate – specifically in shopping centers, the first half of the year 2025.
