اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لاستكشاف تصورات 15 طفلاً (أعمارهم بين 6 و12 سنة) للهوية الوطنية والانتماء الثقافي في الكويت. جُمعت البيانات من خلال ملاحظات الباحث والمقابلات القصيرة أثناء تفاعل الأطفال مع 4 مواضيع رئيسية: العلم الوطني، برج التحرير، ساحة الإرادة، وقصر السيف العامر. أظهرت نتائج محاكاة الثبات الزمني ومراجعة 3 خبراء موثوقية عالية لأدوات البحث. وكشفت النتائج أن 5 أطفال أبدوا شعورًا بالفخر والانتماء عند رسم العلم الوطني، بينما ركز جميع الأطفال الـ15 على التفاصيل عند رسم برج التحرير. في ساحة الإرادة، أظهر 7 أطفال تفاعلًا عاطفيًا واجتماعيًا، فيما أبدى 9 أطفال اهتمامًا بالتراث عند رسم قصر السيف العامر. تشير هذه النتائج إلى أن تنويع الموضوعات والأنشطة الفنية يعزز الإدراك البصري، الوعي الثقافي، والانتماء الوطني لدى الأطفال، وتوصي الدراسة بدمج الرموز الوطنية والمعالم التراثية والمعمارية في التعليم لتعزيز هذه القيم.
