يفترض الباحث ان هناك ضعف في هيبة الدولة في الخطاب الكرافيكي المعاصر، الموجهة عبر قنوات التصميم الكرافيكي الرقمي والمطبوع. ولما للبحث من أهمية كبرى سواء على الجانب النظري أو التطبيقي، فهيبة الخطاب الكرافيكي للدولة والحكومة ذات علاقة بهوية وقوة السلطة المرئية لأي دولة، والشعور بالفخر والولاء والانتماء اليها. والبحث يهدف الى التعرف عن واقع حال الهيبة المرئية في الخطاب الكرافيكي المعاصر. وتحدد الباحث مكانيا، زمانيا، موضوعيا بدراسة هيبة الخطاب الكرافيكي المعاصر في العراق ما بعد العام ٢٠٠٣، وعلى مستوى الرئاسات الثلاث: الدولة، الحكومة ومجلس النواب. وتناول الإطار النظري، الهيبة عند الانسان ما قبل الحضارة، بينما تناول في مبحثه الثاني، الهيبة عند انسان حضارة وادي الرافدين، وتناول المبحث الثالث مفهوم الهيبة في الخطاب الكرافيكي المعاصر. ولم يجد الباحث دراسات سابقة في مجال بحثه. وتم تحديد منهج ومجتمع وعينة البحث، وتحليل النماذج المختارة. وخرج البحث بنتائج أهمها: ان الجانب المعنوي للهيبة غير متحقق في الخطاب الكرافيكي للدولة العراقية المعاصرة. وكانت الاستنتاجات: ان هيبة الدولة، تتحقق عبر وسائل مادية مرئية في التصميم الكرافيكي.
