يعدالنشيد الوطني انعكاسا واقعيا لتاريخ الدولة، ونضال قادتها، فهو يجسد معتقدات الشعوب وتقاليدهم، ويعبر عن الهوية الوطنية، فالرموز من قادة وملوك وشخصيات التي تمتلك موروثا تاريخيا انما تعد ترنيمة تتغن يبها الشعوب ولهذا يكتسب النشيد الوطني وظيفة تجعلة الأساس الذي من خلالة تستثار المشاعر الوطنية بين المواطنين، واستذكارهم لمجد أمتهم، وطبيعة أراضهم، مما سيعزز الانتماء الوطني للأرض، رغم أعراقهم وأديانهم ومعتقداتهم المختلفة. فالنشيد الوطني يظهر في محتواه مميزات الامم، والتغني بشجاعة وقوة ابطالها، المدافعون عن حق وحرية الحياة الكريمة للشعوب. فالأناشيد الوطنية بالدول العربية كالخليج العربي على وجة الخصوص انما تمتاز بالتبسيط، انها تحمل في شقها المتعلق بالمظامين عدة صيغ فمنها ذات طابع ملكي واخر ذو طابع النظام الجمهورية، والبعض الاخر ذو صبغة مناطقية ،وهنالك نوعا اخر من الأناشيد الوطنية يعبر عن مشاعر الحب والاعتزاز بالأمة والوطن والتاريخ، واذا سلمنا ان تناغم النص بالاناشيد الوطنية مع الالحان فاننا نجد ان بنائية المعنى الحكائي للنص واللحن انما تخضع لظوابط تتجسد في كيفية بناء كل منهما وفق تجانس هارموني نصا ونغما وبناءا على ماتقدم وجد الباحث ان مبررات هذا البحث تكمن (بمدى توافق النص الشعري بنائيا من حيث الايقاع واللحن مع النغم بالسلالم الموسيقية للاناشيد الوطنية بدول الخليج العربي).
