تعتبر الفنون باختلاف أنواعها مصدراً خصباً للإلهام في استحداث أبعاد تشكيلية للزخارف ، فمن خلال دراسة سماتها الفنية وتحليل مفردات بنائها التشكيلية يستطيع الفنان تكوين مخزون فكري يمكنه من ترجمتها وإعادة صياغتها وتوظيفها بشكل مستحدث في مقترحاته الفنية .
ويُعد دمج زخارف الفنون مع بعضها البعض أحد التوجهات الجمالية المعاصرة التي تثري القيم التشكيلية وتفتح آفاقاً إبداعية واسعة ، حيث يُضفي هذا الدمج حواراً فنياً ثرياً بين أنماط زخرفية متنوعة تنتمي إلى بيئات وثقافات وفترات زمنية مختلفة .
وتمثل زخارف نسيج السدو السعودي هوية فنية متفردة ، حيث تتضمن في تكويناتها رموزاً ودلالات اجتماعية وجمالية تُعبر عن ثقافة القبائل البدوية وقيمها .
وتُعد المعلقات الفنية من أبرز أشكال الفنون التطبيقية التي تجمع بين القيمة الجمالية والوظيفية ، إذ تستخدم كوسائط زخرفية تُضفي على الفراغات طابع فني وهوية مميزة .
