اثرت نتاجات المدرسة السريالية منذ انطلاقتها وحتى يومنا هذا بشكل كبير على الفن في العالم، لذلك نجد كثير من التشكيلين حول العالم استثمروا في نصوصهم البصرية الاشكال التي ولّدتها السريالية، وهنا يطرح الباحث عدّة اسئلة: ما هي المفردات الشكلية التي تشير بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر إلى الذات استخدمها الرسام السريالي؟ وهل فُهم الشكل السريالي كما قصدتها الحركة؟ وفي هذه الاسئلة تتلخص مشكلة البحث أما أهمية فتكمن في التعرف على مرجعيات شكل الذات الانسانية والمرتبطة بالحقل السايكولوجي في اعمال السرياليين وبخاصة سيلفادور دالي، وتركز المبحث الاول على (جدلية الذات عند الفنان بين الوعي واللاوعي) والمبحث الثاني على (الهيئة البشرية في اعمال سلفادور دالي) ومن ثم اختار الباحث مجتمع بحثه من الأعمال التي انجزت في الفترة 1927 -1964 واختار ثلاث عينات وبعد التحليل توصل الباحث الى النتائج والاستنتاجات ومنها:
1. تضمنت النماذج الثلاث ل دالي (1)،(2)،(3) التحليل النقدي المبني على الهلوسة.
2. قصدية الارباك الذهني من خلال التسمية في العينة (1).
3. استخدام رموز الاحلام من كتاب (تفسير الاحلام) لعالم النفس (فرويد) وتشكيله موضوعات حُلمية ولكن بطريقة علمية مدروسة وليست من لاوعي الفنان واحلامهِ
