يعد الفن التلفزيوني هو باكورة الفنون السمعية و البصرية لكونه أكثرها حرية و ابداعا في البناء الفني و الانتاج الصوري، فهو الفن الذي يستقبله فئات متفاوتة عمريا و ثقافيا و تكمن قوته في تحقيق ذروة الاستمتاع في المشاهدة و التلقي لكل ما يصدر عنه من منجزات فنية، فهو لا يسعى الى الترفيه فقط و لكنه تخطى ذلك إلى عتبات التثقيف و نشر الوعي و معالجة الموضوعات الجديدة و المبتكرة و على الأخص التاريخية منها و ذلك من خلال قدرته العالية على معالجة الموضوعات التي تعمل في الاتجاه الفني الواقعي في الفن بشكله العام، إذ يمتلك المنجز الدرامي الفني القدرة على تحقيق رؤى و خيالات ما هو تاريخي و سابق في الماضي بيد صانع العمل الفني عبر تمثيل صورته الفنية التاريخي ماديا في هذا الوسيط الحسي عالي التأثير ، و ذلك يرتبط بمقدرات الوسيط التلفزيوني على تحقيق متطلبات الفكرة التي تنشأ من خيال ذهني للإحداث الماضية ، لتتحول بعد ذلك إلى خيال فني صوري متمثل بصيرا و صوتيا عبر الوسيط التلفزيوني.
