تخصص البحث في (توظيف العناصر البصرية في تصميم الفضاءات الداخلية للمسابح المغلقة ) ويسعى البحث في تقديم دراسة تسهم في توفير مادة علمية ومعرفية تعد مرجع للباحثين ولطلبة التصميم الداخلي والعمارة و لشركات أنشاء المسابح المغلقة وتمثل هدف البحث بالكشف عن واقع حال التصميم الداخلي للمسابح المغلقة والتعرف على اهم المعايير والتقنيات المستخدمة في تصميمها وتقديم الحلول التصميمية المناسبة اذا تطلب الأمر، بالإضافة لوضع مقترحات تطويرية للتصميم الداخلي للمسابح المغلقة، وتضمن الإطار النظري مبحثين الأول عن نشأة المسابح المغلقة ومكوناتها والثاني عن التصميم الداخلي للمسابح المغلقة متحددا في عناصره البصرية، واتبع المنهج الوصفي في تحليل العينة واهم النتائج التي توصل لها البحث كانت: (لم تحقق المسابح المغلقة المتمثلة بعينة البحث كافة المعايير التصميمية للعناصر البصرية الواجب توافرها عند تصميم المسابح المغلقة المعاصرة، بل حققت بعضا منها وبنسب متفاوتة) ثم الاستنتاجات وأهمها: (يجب اتباع المعايير التصميمية العالمية في تصميم المسابح المغلقة إذ أن للعناصر البصرية في الفضاء الداخلي من ألوان وإضاءة وملمس ذات دور مهم في تحقيق الراحة البصرية، وبالتالي سلامة شاغليها)
