يعد الدور التي تؤديه الملصقات من الأدوار ذات الفاعلية الحيوية في تنمية الوعي البيئي عن طريق ما تقدمه وسائل الاتصال المرئية عبر تصاميم الملصقات ذات دلالات تعبيرية عن موضوع ثقافة الاستدامة ، فهي تؤكد على طرح الموضوعات ذات الاتصال المباشر بحياة الأفراد واستدامة مواردها، أي هنالك جانب وظيفي لتلك المخرجات يحدد على أساسه المصمم عناصره التي تلائم الفكرة، إذ تحقق الاتصال الفكري لمضمون قراءة الملصقات وفهمها بسرعه وسهولة من قبل المتلقي .وهذا ما جعل الباحثة تسعى الى التقصي والبحث عن هذا الموضوع واصفة ًمشكلة بحثها على النحو الاتي: ما ثقافة الاستدامة وانعكاساتها في تصاميم الملصقات البيئية؟ في حين حددت الباحثة هدف البحث في تعرف ثقافة الاستدامة وانعكاساتها في تصاميم الملصقات البيئية وهذا ما تضمنه الفصل الأول اما الفصل الثاني فتمثل بمبحثين، المبحث الأول (ثقافة الاستدامة والوعي البيئي في تصاميم الملصقات) والمبحث الثاني (العملية الاتصالية والثقافة) اما الفصل الثالث فتضمن أهم الاستنتاجات وهي:
1.تمثلت ثقافة الاستدامة عرض الفكرة التصميمية بصورة مباشرة في الملصقات للتعبير عن ثقافة البلدان والتي تمثل نقطة اتصال هوية البلد وتعزيزها.
2.تضمنت الملصقات توظيف رموز ثقافية بيئية مستلهمة من الواقع البيئي للإنسان ، فضلاً عن الرموز الشكلية واللونية متمثلة برمز شكلي للدلالة التعبيرية عن رمز إعادة تدوير البيئة في الصورة والنص في الملصقات. الكلمات المفتاحية (الثقافة، الاستدامة، الملصقات).
