ينطلق الباحث في ميدان بحثه هذا، من أهمية موضوعة اشكالية الخطاب الفكري في الرسم العراقي المعاصر (تجارب ما بعد الحرب 2003-2022) نظراً لما تشكله من ظاهرة جمالية شغلت حيزاً مهماً في خارطة الخطاب التشكيلي بشكله العام والرسم منه بشكل خاص، وتحددت مشكلة البحث من خلال تمظهرها في التساؤل التالي: ماهي اشكالية الخطاب الفكري في الرسم العراقي المعاصر؟ تكمن أهمية البحث الحالي في كونه يسلّط الضوء على ما ينتج من فكر على السطح البصري في الرسم العراقي المعاصر من خلال استعراض المستويات البنائية في الخطاب التشكيلي. اما الفصل الثاني الإطار النظري فقد احتوى على مبحثين: المبحث الأول / مفهوم الخطاب الفكري، والمبحث الثاني / المتغيرات الفكرية في الرسم المعاصر العالمي والعراقي. واحتوى الفصل الثالث على إجراءات البحث متضمناً مجتمع البحث وعينته وطبيعة المنهج فيه، ومن ثم تحليل العينة التي بلغت (3) نماذج. أما الفصل الرابع فاحتوى على نتائج البحث والاستنتاجات، ثم خرج الباحث ببعض التوصيات والمقترحات.
