يعد الممثل حلقة الوصل بين نص المؤلف ورؤى المخرج لإيصال مجمل الأفكار إلى المتلقي بطريقة فنية وتقنية, إذ لكل ممثل خصوصية أدائية تميزه عن غيره من الممثلين, فهناك ممثل يعتمد في أدائه على موهبته الفطرية التلقائية, وهناك الممثل الذي يعتمد في ادائه على المهارات المعرفية النظرية والمنهجية, ومع تعدد الأسس النظرية وأساليب تدريس المناهج الأكاديمية في المسرح, ظهرت خصوصية أداء الممثل الأكاديمي, لذا قد برزت الحاجة لمثل هذه الدراسة, إذ تضمن البحث على مقدمة وإطار نظري تكون من مبحثين الأول: مفهوم الخصوصية الأدائية عند الممثل الأكاديمي, المبحث الثاني: أداء الممثل في المسرح العالمي, أما إجراءات البحث ففيها اعتمد الباحث على العينة القصدية, وثم نتائج البحث والاستنتاجات
