Abstract

The actor is the link between the author's text and the director's visions to convey the whole of the ideas to the recipient in an artistic and technical way, as each actor has a performance specificity that distinguishes him from other actors. There is an actor who relies in his performance on his innate, spontaneous talent, and there is an actor who relies in his performance on theoretical and methodological cognitive skills. With the multiplicity of theoretical foundations and methods of teaching academic curricula in the theater, the specificity of the academic actor's performance has emerged, so the need for such a study has emerged, as the research included an introduction and a theoretical framework consisting of two sections: the first: the concept of performance specificity in the academic actor, the second section: the actor's performance in the world theater. As for the research procedures, the researcher relied on the intentional sample, then the research results and conclusions.
