تناول البحث الجدلية في مفهوم ما بعد الحداثة وأثرها على الفنان المعاصر وخصوصا في مجال الرسم ومحاولة للكشف عن الجدلية في ما بعد الحداثة وتحديده كمفهوم فني وفكري وصولا إلى هدف البحث الذي تناول دراسة شاملة منفصلة للمدارس الفنية وتأثرها بأفكار عصر ما بعد الحداثة. وقد تضمن البحث أربعة فصول خصص الفصل الأول للإطار المنهجي للبحث والذي تضمن مشكلة البحث وأهمية البحث والحاجة إليه وحدود البحث وتحديد المصطلحات في ما مثل الإطار النظري في الفصل الثاني والذي يتضمن ثلاثة مباحث المبحث الأول في مفهوم الجدلية والثاني في مفهوم ما بعد الحداثة والمبحث الثالث للتيارات الفنية في عصر ما بعد الحداثة، وشمل الفصل الثالث الاطار الإجرائي للبحث من حيث حصر مجتمع البحث واختيار عينة الدراسة وقد بلغ عدد الأعمال المجموعة لغرض تحليلها في مجتمع البحث٢4 عملا فنياَ اختير منها أربعة أعمال فنية لفنانين ينتمون لمدارس فنية مختلفة وجرى تحليلها حسب المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لغرض الوقوف على مدى الجدلية في اعمال فناني فترة ما بعد الحداثة. وأخيرا شمل الفصل الرابع النتائج والاستنتاجات التي تمخض عنها البحث في ضوء أهداف وتفسير تلك النتائج وصلتها بمعطيات الإطار النظري ومن أهم النتائج هي التلقائية والتعبير عن الانفعالات بشكل بصري عبارة عن علاقات لونية واشكال مجسمة لخلق نوع من الصراع داخل الشكل وإعطاء صورة للمشاهد تجعل منه مشارك في العمل الفني وتسقيط صراعاته بشكل جدلي بين الفنان والعمل الفني.
