تصميم الازياء هو العمل الإجرائي الذي يفسر هيئة القماش الى اشكال وتكوينات واداء واجراءات تستبدل بواسطة القص واللصق الأشكال بأخرى غير مألوفة تثير الدهشة وتحول المنجز التصميم للقماش الى ازياء مختلفة ذات طابع جمالي ووظيفي. ففن الكولاج أحد الفنون الحديثة والتي لجأ إليها الفنانون للخروج على المدارس الفنية الكلاسيكية وابتكار أسلوب جديد في التصميم من خلال استخدام العناصر الطبيعية والمواد المختلفة وتطويعها للوصول إلى الشكل النهائي للتصميم؛ ان هذا البحث الذي يدرس (فن الكولاج وتطبيقاته في بنى تصاميم اقمشة الازياء) وفي ضوء ذلك قسم البحث الى أربعة فصول.
ضم الفصل الأول الإطار المنهجي، مشكلة البحث والحاجة إليه وتمحورت في إطلاق التساؤل الآتي ماهية تطبيقات فن الكولاج لبنى تصميم اقمشة الازياء؟، ومن ثم أهمية البحث، وحدودة، وأُختتم الفصل بتعريف المصطلحات. تضمن الفصل الثاني الإطار النظري، وقسم الى مبحثين، تكون المبحث الأول من فن الكولاج في تصميم الاقمشة والازياء، المبحث الثاني: فاعلية البنى التصميمية لفن الكولاج في تصاميم الأقمشة والأزياء.
ويتضمن الفصل الثالث اجراءات البحث، من خلال مجتمع البحث ونماذجه متمثلة بمجموعه عينات عدد 3 مختارة، اما الفصل الرابع فقد اشتمل على النتائج ومناقشتها والاستنتاجات والمصادر
