في ظل التطورات العلمية والاكتشافات التكنولوجية المتسارعة التي تغلغلت في مختلف ميادين الحياة, لذى عمد المسرح على توظيفها لمواكبة التطور التكنلوجي, ليترجم هذا التفاعل الى تقنياتٍ رقمية وإسقاطات ضوئية كمعالجات بصرية تؤدي وظائف جمالية درامية وافتراضات متعددة عن طريق الكومبيوتر والوسائط الرقمية الاخرى التي عززت رؤى المخرج والمصمم وأعادت العلاقة التواصلية مع المتلقي.
تضمن البحث الحالي أربعة فصول:الفصل الأول الإطار المنهجي تضمن هذا الفصل مشكلة البحث, كما تضمن أهمية البحث, وهدف البحث , وحدود البحث, وأختتم الفصل بتحديد مصطلحات لغويا واصطلاحياً وإجرائياً.
أما الفصل الثاني الإطار النظري فقد شمل :المبحث الاول: التقنيات الرقمية
المبحث الثاني : المعالجات التقنية لأجهزة الاسقاط الضوئي في تشكيل فضاء العرض المسرحي
أما الفصل الثالث فقد تضمن إجراءات البحث. في حين أختتم البحث بالفصل الرابع النتائج والاستنتاجات والتوصيات والمقترحات.
